An Introduction to the Language and Culture with Sr. Norton
For more than 20 years, when people have asked me what I do for a living, I have responded with "I'm a Spanish teacher." Among the follow-up questions, after they tell me all they remember from their Spanish classes and how they wish they had paid more attention, I get asked about resources to help them with their current attempt to learn the language.
The purpose of this website, the mission of Norton Spanish, is to provide - at no charge - resources to help others to learn more about the Spanish language.
Admittedly, the approach on this website is rather grammar-based, but with some of my favorite other resources as well.
Good luck with your learning. Buena suerte y... ¡progresemos!
This is equivalent to what most people would study in a 1st-year high school course or the first semester of college (like a Spanish 101). The resources here are designed to support Level 1 learners.
This is equivalent to what most people would study in a 2nd-year high school course or the second semester of college (like what many/most universities would refer to as Spanish 102). The resources here are designed to support Level 2 learners.
You guessed it... This is equivalent to what most people would study in a 3rd-year high school course or the third semester of college (like a Spanish 201). The resources here are designed to support Level 3 learners.
Now you might think that this would resources for a 4th year (or 4th semester) Spanish student. Kinda. It's more like a catch-all for my resources for those above Level 3. There may be some literature from Level 5/6, there may be other stuff.
Well, I don't really answer questions. This is just for you to use. I don't make money off it and I am rather busy with other things. Sorry. :)
